I have been meaning to reach out and let you know I found out on Thursday that I ended up getting accepted!

I am still in shock and am beyond excited to start there this fall. Thank you so much for all your help, I couldn’t have done it without your guidance, and it really means a lot.

High school senior accepted to Duke for fall 2024

"We have been meaning to thank you so much for all you have done to help Carson get into college. We could not have done it without you. You have been amazing every step of the way and we feel the end result is a perfect fit for him. He is so excited and had no regret when emailing the schools to request his application be pulled.

Carson loved working with you - never complained one second about any meetings or follow-up. We are so grateful. This is a great day to send this message. "

Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving🍁🦃🧡

"Greta was truly a delight to work with. She was so kind and understanding and I always looked forward to seeing her. Greta was very organized and flexible, making all the tasks I needed to do seem manageable. She guided me through every essay and always had an answer to the countless questions I asked. Greta’s insight and advice made me feel confident in my application and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her. I can’t thank her enough for everything she helped me accomplish!" Student from Minnetonka, Minnesota attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Class of 2027

"As a parent going through the college admissions process for the first time, we could not have done

done it without Greta's expertise. She made the process manageable, not overwhelming. She worked with my son every step of the way so I didn't have to oversee. Greta was knowledgeable, informative, and fun. We are so grateful and highly recommend Greta." Parent of incoming freshman, University of Kansas, Class of 2027

"Hey Greta, thanks for checking in! I just decided yesterday, I'm committed to Caltech! I was there for 3 days and I really liked it. It is super hard academically but they have a system for handling the challenging environment. I also loved the campus (Pasadena is super pretty) and the people there were great.

Caltech will be a huge step both academically and socially but I hope this was a good choice!

Thanks again for all your help!" Freshman at Caltech, Class of 2027

"I love my school! I can't see myself anywhere else. Thank you again!"

Greta is a calm, honest, knowledgeable, and supportive guide through the college application and admission process. After getting to know our daughter's interests she made solid recommendations to help her round out her list of schools to apply to. She also spent time researching lesser-known international colleges our daughter was interested in and very quickly got up to speed about the prerequisites for these schools--we were so impressed by her dedication to the process. She worked directly with our daughter which was empowering for her and she also followed up with her parents with thorough recaps of their discussions which kept us in the loop as well. From college selection to essay revisions to the organized platform she employs for staying on task we were always grateful for Greta's influence during a potentially stressful time. Our family highly recommends Seagull College Consulting.  Family of University of California, Berkeley student, Class of 2025

"Thank you so very much for your gracious support and kindness. Accolades for your professional interaction with Laurel; it was genuine guidance while always elevating her personalized contribution. You are excellent at what you do!"   Parent of University of Georgia student, Class of 2025

"My husband and I had no idea how complex the college application process was, especially for a senior who was determined to apply to elite schools. We pretty much “handed the reins” of college application guidance to Greta. Our daughter responded enthusiastically. She enjoyed working independently of us by setting her own meetings and determining the agenda with Greta. Our daughter responded well to Greta’s low-key, warm, and thorough style. While we were still involved, Greta organized everything—from recommending comparable colleges where our daughter might be interested, to assisting our daughter with the supplemental essays she was required to write for some schools, including enlisting an additional writing coach for more feedback. Working with Greta was a relief on so many levels: we didn’t have to worry about a timetable for essays and applications, causing stress between a senior and her parents, and our daughter was able to chart her own course with a responsible and kind adult."  Parents of University of Chicago student, class of 2024

"We are very thankful we chose Greta to guide our oldest son through his college selection process.   She helped make the selection and decision-making process enjoyable and positive instead of overwhelming and stressful like we were anticipating before we started working with her.

She partnered with us and our son through each step of the process starting with the ACT testing options (beginning of his junior year) all the way to the difficult decision of choosing between his final three colleges (end of his senior year).

Greta provided valuable insights with applications,  essays, financial aid, and comparative scenarios.  She identified a list of colleges that fit our budget and our son's needs/wishes, and ultimately guided him towards what college was the right fit for him.

She met with him frequently throughout the application process and helped to stay on track with deadlines.  Setting up a schedule for our son to follow and keeping him on track with deadlines was most helpful to all of us!  She helped him prioritize what needed to be done and did an excellent job of encouraging him to get applications in before the business of his Senior year kicked in.

Greta was always available for questions from all three of us and her follow up and follow through was amazing!!  She is a hard worker and went above and beyond for us!   She's a lovely, kind, hard working person to work with for such a big decision ~ for that we're grateful!"   Parents of University of Minnesota student, class of 2024

"We are getting excited to go look at Kansas, SLU, Dayton and Xavier. I was asking Nina as we were driving all around WI for her Irish dance shows who found the schools we were going to look at. She said you did so I just wanted to thank you so very much for all you help. I know Nina really likes all 4 of these schools a lot!! We never would have found them without you. We even found out Dayton and SLU have Irish dance teams!" Parent of University of Dayton student, class of 2023

"Even though my 2019 senior was my third senior, college planning became difficult.  We are forever grateful for all of the hard work Greta put into helping our daughter with college applications and selections this year.  Greta helped our daughter by listening to her goals and her “wants” out of college life.  Greta helped all of us by identifying a variety of schools that fit our daughter’s academic needs and our budget.  Setting up a schedule and gently nudging our daughter to get tasks done during a very stressful senior year worked perfectly.  Our daughter was accepted by five of the six schools he applied to; making the final choice became easy after Greta helped her discuss all of the options.  Greta has vast experience in the area of college selection and she has strong personal contacts in many schools; she was willing to make connections at a school that was new to her in order to share accurate information with both my daughter and me.  The web tools she uses and shares saved all of us a lot of time; they were very helpful.   I highly recommend using Seagull College Consulting."  Parent of Montana State University student, class of 2023

"Everything I have to say are thanking words, all the process I have been going through has been because of you Greta. There is no person more prepared than you for this kind of job which guides new students to better opportunities, even when something is not clear you make the effort to understand it and give a fast solution.I can say my case was different from everybody else so I consider I was a challenge. However, you did not hesitate to help me. I could not have done it without you and the facilities that SeaGull offers to the students. Thank you, with all my heart. Student from Cali, Columbia,  attending Florida Atlantic University, class of 2023

"Greta was a huge help in all aspects of our daughter's college application process. She helped with the application, the essay, and the financial aid information. She also was a person our daughter could go to and get informed, un-biased opinions on a number  of topics related to her college choices."   Parent of University of Iowa student, class of 2022

"I was overwhelmed with all of the different options that colleges provide. She gave me reasonable deadlines to finish all of the applications and essays to make sure I got everything done. It was extremely helpful and it’s easier to listen to someone else than your own parents."  Student, University of Iowa, class of 2022

"You somehow knew just what my daughter needed. She drags her feet with getting applications in, studying for admissions tests and making contacts with coaches. You set up a great timeline for her, touched base in a timely fashion and kept moving her along without her feeling you were too pushy. I really appreciated the follow up emails discussing what you covered on your phone calls to her. You also helped her narrow her search. AS you know, she was all over the place with options. Small, large, to swim or not to swim! Ugh. You took a great deal of stress out of my life and out of my relationship with her. Thank you! While the verdict is still out on where she will be attending, your guidance has been invaluable."    Parent of Loyola of New Orleans student, class of 2022

"Greta has been a huge help with my daughter who was seeking to get into nursing school. She already had her AA from a local community college. Due to a scheduling error, she needed to still take a class in the summer, thus couldn't apply to schools to start in the fall. Greta suggested that she should take another class to add a lab and increase GPA. Then the hunt began for nursing schools that start in the spring term. Greta helped us mine our options and submit the applications. She assisted my daughter with the essay and knew some ins and outs of essay writing. Then, a virtual interview was set up. Greta researched possible and likely questions that would be asked. She and my daughter practiced a computer interview several times and really worked to get the computer image just right with back-drop, lighting and so forth. I truly think the essay and interview were the key to Natalie being accepted to a top rated school. Now she is helping me with the ins and outs of the financials (the improved GPA garnered Merit money)! Thank you Greta, you are a wealth of information and we couldn't have done this without you!"   Parent of Jacksonville University nursing student, class of 2020
